History

Only 50 years ago agriculture in The Netherlands was quite similar to agriculture in many other (developing) countries today. Since the 1960’s dairy farming in The Netherlands has gone through a metamorphosis. The average number of cattle per farm has increased. Modern free roaming stables today can even keep up to 1000 animals. This resulted in high production rates and increased export of dairy products. The Netherlands became famous dairy producers, with the high-productive Holstein Friesian cow as their flagship. Over time this ‘maximisation of productivity model’ was only adjusted, although the context totally changed.

Concept

Our proficiency in delivering solutions for our customers is founded on more than 67 years industry experience and profound knowledge of foods. Having our roots in dairy, as of December 1, 2014, the Dutch Trading Company Senel & Co. BV introduced the brand Milky Holland™. Milky Holland offers the broadest selection of naturally healthy, high-quality products made from premium milk. Our unique concept process guarantees products with all the natural taste, vitamins and minerals people expect. Milky Holland has the expertise, experience and passion to import and export the very best milks for consumers everywhere.

Development

Milky Holland creates innovations that deliver benefits to his importers, distributors, food manufacturers and consumers that are the result of a century of pioneering innovation – and that cannot easily be copied. Dutch dairy is known globally as a leader in unique milk processing technologies. Holland’s leadership and competitiveness is based on scientific research, leading technological expertise and superior raw materials – Dutch milk.

Finally, The Branding

In 2015 Milky Holland’s dedicated R&D team developed patented Milky Holland™ brand formula that has been licensed. Milky Holland was the first in the Netherlands to launch a worldwide dairy concept with the real taste of good milk, and is the only exporter in The Netherlands with this concept. Milky Holland products have already been launched in, for example, West-Africa and the Middle Eastern countries but also in Sweden.
